What To Do With That Dress - Part 6
Filed in archive Bridal Style on April 7, 2007

I saw this on the news recently, and new I wanted to share it here. I doubt that many brides will see this as a great alternative to an expensive, fabric wedding gown - but the idea is pretty neat and after Part 5 being SO LONG and full of info, I thought something unique and short was called for:)
It is a Disposable Wedding Gown designed by Finnish designer, Tuija Järvenpää, for an exhibit
at the Kuntsthalle Helsinki in 2005. Apparently, the shiny translucent paper that the gown is made from can actually be thrown out - or better yet, recycled - after the wedding. The paper "fabric" can also be made in various prints with ornamental cut in patterns and folds.
