Weekend Recap

We spent this past weekend at the Nopiming Lodge with the kids. This is where we plan on holding out recommitment ceremony in 2 years. We arrived on Friday night just as the sun was setting and the beach looked amazing! I wish I had thought to take a picture! I am seriously considering having a sunset ceremony instead of an early afternoon.

I did take some pictures while I was there though. We plan on having the ceremony on a small private beach belonging to the lodge. Here is a very of the beach from the water:




The one thing we are very undecided on is the location for the dinner. I would really love to have at right above the beach - imagine this area with white picnic blankets set up like in the second photo:

The problem is that it can be raining in May, and the misquitos can also be a problem. Because of that, we are considering a traditional set-up with a tent but there are few areas flat enough to fold a good size tent. Here are a few of the options:



This is probably the better location because it has grass underneath - but it is at the bottom of a hill so if there has been a lot of rain, or if it is raining, it could be a problem.



This location is higher up and rain would not be a problem. But, it is gravel and it is the main parking area so using this area would leave us with limited parking for our guests.

So, that's where we are at so far:)
