Wedding Planning, Part 3
Filed in archive General Planning on October 10, 2008
It's crunch time. Your wedding day is almost here and your life may seem more hectic and chaotic than ever. If you've planned accordingly, you shouldn't be as stressed, especially if you've been able to check off tasks as they were done (and hopefully, everyone whose assistance you need has cooperated!). When it's nearly time, here are some of the things you should do right before you say your "I do's."
1 week before the wedding, make sure you:
* Start packing for your honeymoon
* Confirm hair and beauty appointments
* Give a final head count to necessary vendors
* Pick up your wedding gown, if you haven't already

1 day before, you should:
* Make sure the best man has the rings
* Hand out gifts to your attendants
* Get beauty treatments like manicures and pedicures done
THE DAY OF, you need to:
* Breathe and relax!
* Smile
* Arrange for hair and makeup to be done at least an hour, not mere minutes, before the wedding
* Relax!
Careful planning and organization go a long way toward ensuring a smooth wedding day. Some things will remain outside of your control, but keeping a sense of humor and surrounding yourself with positive people can make even the most disastrous thing seem less...disastrous.
Happy wedding planning!
