Wedding Favors for the Pet Lovers

I spotted this idea at the Celebrity Wedding Blog and thought it was too great not to share. When we reported that Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller got married earlier in the summer, we also mentioned that the couple asked guests to donate to charities, one of which was Pugs 'N Pals, a doggie rescue group.

Asking guests to donate to your charity of choice is not only good for you, especially if you already have a home and don't need another single appliance/vase/piece of clutter to add to it, but it's also great for the charity.

So the ASPCA is now in on the wedding favor/gift market for all of you animal lovers out there. You can direct your guests to the website, where they can donate directly and you can also create your own ASPCA wedding page. In exchange for a donation, you have the option to receive wedding favor place cards.

I know how some people dread shopping for wedding gifts, so if animals are your passion and you want to do something beyond having your dog as a ring bearer, this is a good way to support a worthy cause, not clutter up your house and save your guests the time to shop (although not everyone complains about shopping!).
