Wedding Dress Trend 2009: Sleek

Getting married next year? It's time to think about your wedding dress. Trends for 2009 dictate that sleek is in. Now I know everyone doesn't like sleek - some of you have always wanted to wear that big, billowy Cinderella-type gown since you were eight years-old and you definitely can. But if you like slim, column gowns, they're what's news for next year.

Since color is also a 2009 trend, I like the sash on this otherwise white Vera Wang gown. This is a good shape for many different bodies, including brides who want to camouflage their hips.

Now this is really Jean Harlowesque. I don't know who's going to walk down the aisle with a fur stole, but if you can pull this off, more power to you!
