Bridal Style

Part of feeling like a beautiful bride is not having to worry if your mascara is running or your nose is shiny. The right makeup and application is essential on your wedding day, but don't wait until the big day comes to focus on your skin. Maintaining a good skincare routine in the months leading to your wedding will help ensure clear and radiant skin when it counts.
So when it comes to buying makeup, looking for anything waterproof is smart. Chances are, you'll get teary-eyed, plus being in a wedding gown and all of the accoutrements may make yousweat glisten. If you can afford to get your makeup professionally done, I highly recommend it. Experienced makeup artists know what to use and how to use it so that any shining is kept to a minimum and your mascara won't run.
If you're shopping for makeup on your own, here's some recommendations on products that will stand up to tears, nervousness and perspiration:
* per-fekt beauty skin perfection gel: This multitasking product is sweat and water resistant and claims to "instantly improve skin tone, reduce redness, and help minimize the appearance of enlarged pores and fine lines." On the pricey side at $57.50, but the reviews are overwhelmingly positive, so I'd be willing to give this a try.
* Lancome LE STYLO long lasting eyeliner: Waterproof and promises not to "skip, smudge or streak."
* Diorshow waterproof mascara: If it can hold up in the pool, I'd say it'll hold up during a wedding.
* Laura Mercier mineral powder: Oil-free and water resistant, it sounds like a good product for brides with oily skin. Plus, you can use it as a foundation or pigmented powder.
