*Chocolate (my favorite!)

*No flowers, but ribbons, jewels and bows instead

Of course, you don't have to follow any trends if traditional is more your style, but if you're interested in shaking things up a little or saving money by going for a small ice cream cake instead a multi-tiered confection, keep these ideas in mind. There's something for everyone's taste and budget, trendy or not.
