Tuxedo Fitting Tip

If you are like most brides, you understand that leaving the tuxedo choice to your fiance alone is probably not a great idea. Chances are, unless your fiance is one of those rare men who care about style and design - if you want the guys to fit in with the rest of the wedding, you better help pick what they will be wearing or at least provide some guidance.
A local rental shop
owner shared some valuable advice for brides - When it comes to tux fittings, DO NOT come with! She said that the average fitting takes 20 minutes for one person or 40 minutes for groups of 3 or 4. When the bride comes along, the average is 2 hours! Now, I am not suggesting that you don't need to be there to pick a tuxedo - but you need to do it before the fitting. Schedule a time in advance to go in with just your fiance to look over styles, pick colors, etc. This is the part that takes so much time, and the other guys really don't need to be there for that. This shop owner said she finds that when brides come with the wedding party and try to do it all at once, the guys are frustrated and the bride is a lot more stress and hurried. When she comes earlier, either that day or in the weeks before, she has time to browse and make her choices without feeling rushed and is generally a lot less stressed in the end.
So - there you go! Go in before, pick what you want, send the rest of the guys later:)
