To Tie or Bowtie?

Spotted over at Weddingbee was an interesting blog post about the bridegroom's ties. I have to agree with Miss Milkshake that a regular old necktie worn with a tux takes a little something away from that piece of formal wear. But she didn't stop there. She gave you options if you still want to go with a necktie, just some very interesting ones.

She highlights some ties made by etsy designers. If you don't yet know about etsy, you should definitely check the site out, especially if you have a love of indie/handcrafted items. If your fiance or any other guy you know who's planning to get married is dead-set on wearing a necktie, at least he can get something unique and not a tie that half the men in his workplace are wearing.

This could be a little gift from you to him. You know what he likes, what his particular style is, so choose accordingly. I think a lot of guys would be flattered.
