I am not usually a huge fan of cartoon characters (Cinderella is just SO overdone, and the simpsons? Really? ANYWAY...) on wedding cakes but I think these are cute! What a fun way to show a little personality, lol. The craftmanship of some of the cakes is astounding as well! I am not 100% sure where I found the cake above but I wish I could remember because any cake decorator that can create a dragon like that one deserves recognition! If you know, let me know!

I found a few other Shrek or Shrek & Fiona wedding cakes worth mentioning as well. The first cake is a very well made cake with layers decorate with fir trees, flowers, a tree stump and finally topped with a rock chapel and figurines of Shrek & Fiona on their wedding day. I really love seeing cakes like that - well made and gorgeous even with their quirks.

The second cake is cute to - decorated with a fix of real flowers and icing flowers - with a few icing bugs and catepillars thrown in for extra measure. Apparently, this cake was actually green on the inside but I couldn't find a picture of the inside to show you.

The third cake shown below is actually just a Shrek head (the bride and groom are the top of another cake). It is a groom's cake, and looks adorable!
