Picnic Wedding?

If you are looking for something unique for your wedding, this might just fit the bill! The picture above is from an event by event planner Stanlee Gatti and it just looks so romantic, I love it! If your dream wedding is a casual, outdoor summer event - an elegant picnic theme is a wonderful idea! One of the girls over at Soiree Special Events suggested a simple brunch-style reception.

"Throw a bottle of chilled wine or sparkling juice in each basket with some grapes, apples, cheese, and crackers."

It's a great idea for a mid afternoon or mid morning wedding when a full meal might be to much but a light picnic meal would be perfect. Here is another great idea from Soiree as well (visit their blog if you are in the DC area and would like sources for renting furniture like this).
