No Pinault Wedding Bells For Salma Hayek

isn't going to marry French billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault -the father of the actress' daughter Valentina (born in September 2007).

The couple's engagement as announced by their representative, is now officially off.

"We are sad to announce the engagement of Salma Hayek and Francois-Henri Pinault has been canceled. There will be no further comment," Hayek's rep said in a statement.

Well...sometimes marriage isn't for everyone, right? I guess this announcement is a lot better than news of divorce after a so lavish Hollywood wedding.
