Music for Your First Dance
Filed in archive General Planning on September 25, 2008
If you're lucky, you and your groom have "a song." This makes it easier when deciding what music to play during your first dance as husband and wife (unless "your song" is some X-rated number that you two got down to at a nightclub and can't be played in mixed company-it can still be your song, just not out in public).
If you don't have a song to claim and need one, you can find a huge selection of first dance songs at WedAlert.

Songs are listed in alphabetical order by title and artist. Since a lot of songs are covered by more than one singer or group, you might not find your favorite artist listed, but you can use this long list as a starting point for ideas. Under their "Wedding Song Directory," you can also find last songs, father and daughter songs, ethnic songs...and more.
So if you and your fiance's song is something like "Apple Bottom Jeans" and you want something a little classier for your wedding, check out WedAlert for ideas.

Most couples already have a song, but if not check the 80's hair bands for some power ballads. They offer the best songs for couples.
