Rumors continue to fly surrounding the upcoming nuptials of eva longoria and Tony Parker in Paris, France. The over-the-top, celebrity wedding has been topping the wedding rumor mill ever since the announcement that the superstitious couple would be tying the note on 07/07/07. Will the cake be flown in from the US with it's own body guard, or, as recent rumors predict, is a French-made cake the only thing that will do?

For many months, it was believed that the wedding would take place at the Chateau de Chantilly (shown above), a 16th century palace that rents out portions of it's buildings and grounds for special events starting as low as $5000. But then Tony told the press not to believe everything they hear - and rumors began about a possible second choice. This time, rumors are that the nuptials will take place at the Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte located 55km outside of Paris. This 17th century castle has been shown in films like Marie Antionette and The Man in The Iron Mask.




Either choice would be a perfect location for this elaborate event, and Eva is not the first celebrity bride to choose an exotic European castle for her wedding. Actress Liz Hurley's very publicized wedding took place in Sudeley Castle in Britain, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes set a trend with their Italian wedding in the Odescalchi Castle near Rome, Heather Mills and Paul McCartney choose the Castle Leslie at Glaslough, Ireland and Pierce Brosnan followed suit with another Irish wedding at Ashford Castle in County Mayo. Madonna and Guy Ritchie choose the Scottish Skibo Castle while Dave & Victoria Beckman choose Luttrellstown Castle outside of Dublin.
