Hi David and staff, My name is Diane Diliberti and I live in N.J. for the last 9 years. I originaly lived in N.Y. I don't know if you are interested in doing a wedding for a couple that has been together for 34 years, married for 19 of them. My husband and I have never had the wedding we dreamed of or a honeymoon. My story is unique. The day of our ceremony consisted of me getting my communion, confermation, marriage vows and then my daughter christening on 12/15/90. I never even got to walk down an asle with my father. Which he has passed on now unfortunatly. Afterwards we went to my sisters house to have a cake. Our honeymoon consisted of my sister holding my daughter overnight. We don't even have more then 2 or 3 photos of that day. My children have asked to see them but I don't have the heart to show them. I had no white gown, no great day to remember like other lucky brides. Our dream was to always, maybe try to get remarried but with lifes struggles, trails and tribulations it has never happened. We tried to go on a honeymoon on 9/10/01 to Jamaica. Which the next day one of the most horrific day in our history happened. The world trade center, the pentagon and the other plane that went down in Penn. My heart was and is still broken for all those poor souls on that day. May god bless them all and all our heros of that day. I would love to be able to give this gift to my husband to renew our love for one another with the help of David. He is an angel of love. It dosen't matter what day because I really haven't planned anything but when I saw this I thought maybe mine and my husbands dream could happen with the help of David. Hello David and the WE team. My name is Christine. My boyfriend and I would like to get married. We have been together a little over 5 years and between the two of us, we have 4 children. He has two girls and I have one girl and we have a son together. My boyfriend, Sam, retired from the Navy last year. He was a submariner for 20 years. The plan was that we would get married after he retired...knowing that he would not deploy anymore and would truly be able to live happily ever after. After he retired, we decided to move from VA, back to NC, to be close to our families again. Of course, prior to moving here, we had absolutely no idea that we would have such a hard time finding jobs and would be living solely off of his retirement pay of $1261 a month. No jobs = no wedding any time soon. I am actually in the process of taking Wedding and Event Planning classes, to get my certification. But, of course, I have no clients yet. I had so many plans and dreams for our wedding. While living in VA, I had a great job, making great money but, that ended way to soon because of blood clots that I developed while being pregnant with my son. I was taken out of work, therefore, losing my job. I was also looking forward to a substantial lawsuit payment because of the bloodclots but that didn't end well either. Apparently, overweight womens lives are not worth as much as thin womens lives. Anyway, I am 41 years old and Sam is 40 years old. This would be both of our 2nd weddings. We are both good people and we so deserve to have the best wedding possible. Sam is such an amazing, kind man. If nothing else, he deserves the best. I love him so much. He is my dream come true. My name is Octavia and my fiance name is Amilcar. We have been planning our wedding for a little bit over a year now. We were supposed to get married in September of 2009 but my fiance was put on permanent disability and the income was just not enough to have our wedding. I was really disappointed. With just my income it was not going to cut it. I have most of the things bought for the reception although I have always dreamed of a fairytale wedding and this one was definetely not going to be a fairytale wedding. One of the most important things for my wedding is that my father walks me down the isle. My dad has been diagnosed with Esaphagus cancer and now pancriatic cancer. I don't know how much longer I will have my father but I sure enough hope that God allows him to stay with me until that day. I was hoping to be able to have all the funds to be able to have our wedding in February of 2010. I watch your show every time it airs and I cry each time. I see how you turn a girls wedding into the wedding they always dreamed of. I wish I was one of those lucky girls and one day have you visit me and tell me that you want to help me make my dream come true. Me and my fiance have been together for 4 years and 4 months he has 2 boys and I have 1 boy and 1 girl and we now that we are meant for each other. Even though he bought my engagement ring at Walmart to me it is the most beautiful one and it means so much to me. We have to be on a budget. I love your show. Even though it goes up to 11pm on Sunday, I stay up to watch. I am already married but never had a big one. I got married at the courthouse while I was 9 months preghnant. My fiance and I watch your show evert Sunday, yes he misses football.In the last year and 1/2 we have been planning a wedding, the problem is we need some help in so many ways. I have had an amputation,and have had 2 major eye surgeries after going blind in 1 eye and my fiance John has had a major back operation. I am making one last desperate attempt to save my wedding. My childhood dream was always to elope with my future husband in someplace exotic. My fiance and I were surprised to find out that we are expecting a baby. This surprise rushed up our wedding plans tremendously. We decided to plan a simple wedding in six weeks. My fiance's family lives in a small town in rural kentucky. My mother in law has been making all the arrangements as she is local to the area and we are flying in from California. We are so grateful for her help but every day that goes by I cringe a little more thinking about the wedding. We've talked to his parents about the wedding and it feels like talking to a wall. We can't back out now because they've spent so much money on this day. On a scale of 0 to 10, with 10 being a perfect wedding, and 0 being my nightmare wedding, this day is definetely a 1. Plus the alterations lady screwed up my dress. It's still wearable but....I'm so dissappointed. I'm dreading my wedding; I just want it to be over. At this point, my wedding is less than two weeks away, on Valentine's Day. I know that my day doesn't meet your criteria, I'm just venting. You do good things.
