Jonathon Fong DIY Ideas

I found this simple yet very unique DIY project idea on Jonathon Fong Style and wanted to share. His website is full of DIY projects that are perfect for weddings and I am willing to bet his new book, Flowers That Wow, is even better. The rose ice cubes use real roses and are a great way to dress up your champagne bottle displays at your rehearsal dinner, bridal showers or reception.
Here are a few more of his projects that are very wedding-worthy:

This is a floral display shaped like a cake. It would make a very elegant centerpiece for a shower or rehearsal. Made mostly from carnations, with a few roses on top - it is also a fairly affordable idea. If you are making them yourself, you may want to consider using silk flowers so you can make them in advance instead of trying to find time the day of the wedding.

Another great centerpiece idea - this one uses roses and ribbon to great a "gift wrapped present" for a very elegant, romantic and modern looking arrangement.

A traditional rose topiary that can be customized to suit any color scheme. This could be used as a centerpeice, on the guest book table or cake table, or to decorate the alter/ceremony area.

For an Oriental-themed wedding, this design uses a take-out food style box as the vase and exotic flowers for a perfect finish.

This one is perfect for a teacher, writer, literature lover, school sweethearts, and anyone having a book or school theme. It uses a basic plastic tumbler and pencils to create a unique and beautiful centerpiece.
