Something Different
by Crystal Unrau on October 30, 2007

On Sept. 7, 2007 a guy wrote a poem to propose to his girlfriend Mary. Okay, that in itself is not so spectacular, it's been done before. But this guy decided that instead of giving it to his girlfriend he would email it to 50 random strangers and ask them to help by forwarding it to all their friends and families. The idea is that as it grows and gets passed around, it will eventually get back to Mary. The gentleman even set up a website so we could track it's progress and leave messages for Mary to read in the end.
Based on the feedback on his site - the email has really been getting around but not everyone thinks it's a great idea. Personally, I think it's neat and I hope it does actually get back to her. What a neat story to share later on. I will keep watching the site to see if she does get it. I would be so impatient if I was that guy, lol.
