Honoring My Brother

A colleague of mine posted a wonderful article earlier this week that really caught my attention. In her article, Remembering Loved Ones At Your Wedding, Blake shares ideas to help honor those who you have lost.
This topic is especially dear to me because just a year after I was married, my brother passed away. He was 17 at the time, and was lost very suddenly in a car accident. Since then, I have noticed many weddings were they have chosen in some small way to remember loved ones no longer with them. Usually, this is done with a special candle placed by the guest table, or at the alter - but I didn't always know who they were for. When we renew our vows, I would like to do this as week but in a more visible way.
I am particularly drawn to the ideas of using music to honor my brother. My brother was the "dj" for our ceremony, providing recorded music from his stereo system for our outdoor ceremony. We also discovered after he passed away that the first some he ever danced to with his girlfriend is the same song my hubby and I danced to for the first time when we were dating! I would like to dance to this song at our renewal reception with my husband, in honor of my brother.
Do you have a loved one you want to or did honor at your wedding? How do you/did you do that? Let us know:)
