"green" wedding trend?

The idea of a "green" or eco-friendly wedding is fast becoming a popular trend with everyone celebrities to "regular folk" looking for ways to be enviromentally friendly with their Wedding Planning. For some, it is just about following the trend - but for most, it is about making socially-conscious decisions and recognizing that our decisions DO NOT only effect us, even on our wedding day!

Green weddings are more then just recycled paper invitations and conflict-free diamonds - they are about thinking beyond what we want and finding way to create a dream wedding that still leave hope for a future for our own children and grandchildren.

The idea in itself is a wonderful, and even those brides who do it just because it is the "in" thing - at least that is a little less damage done, right? So - I have decided to start a new blog section just for eco-friendly weddings, and I will add new ideas, tips, products, and more as I find them.
