I'm not just talking about the color here, I'm talking about being "green" in all aspects of your life, even down to the type of wedding invitations you choose. If you're an environmentally-conscious bride, you can now buy and send invitations that are eco-friendly. InviteSite has a huge selection of styles for you to choose from that you can either purchase as a DIY kit and print yourself or they'll print them for you (using vegetable-based inks, of course).
Pictured is Deirdre, made of "handmade lokta paper from nepal." An entirely tree-free creation, it closes with a real sprig of Edelweiss. Simple, elegant, classic and fits your green needs.
If green is part of your wedding color theme, perfect, but if you have other shades in mind, you'll find virtually any color invitation you need at the site. The eco-friendly ones are as gorgeous as anything I've seen lately. Perfect for the DIY bride (hey, this is a quality-time activity you and your groom can enjoy together!) or anyone who's invested in the planet's welfare.

So this wedding invitation is supposed to be 'green'? Did it ever occur to them that the flower Edelweiss is an endangered plant in Austria?! If you want truly 'green', I doubt you'd pick such a rare flower that is hardly ever found in nature because they have been grossly over-picked:(
