Green Wedding Favors, Anyone?
Filed in archive Did you know , DIY , Wedding Favors on September 8, 2009
Anything eco-friendly (or environmentally friendly or 'green') seems to be IN thing these days. If you want to hop on the bandwagon, you can even turn your wedding green. You can give out eco-friendly wedding favors too.
Use materials such as recycled paper, dried leaves, flower petals and twigs in making your wedding favors if you want to do it yourself. Serve a family-friendly menu made out of organic ingredients in your wedding reception. Use plants and fruits for decor ideas. Flower seeds wrapped in recycled paper makes a nice wedding favor as well. If you wanna go overboard, then choose tree and vegetable seedlings for your wedding favors.
Remember to pick out something that your guests will not just throw away and don't have any good use for. You can also make some low-carb-low-sugar dessert wrapped in hand made paper packages. Ready to turn your wedding favors green? Try it now!
