Favorite Wedding Movies

I've seen The Princess Bride more times than I can count. This is one of those movies I can quote entire scenes from. I should probably be embarrassed saying that, but I know I'm not alone.

For all of you other The Princess Bride fans out there, here's a clip of just why we love this movie so much.

Need more convincing? Cary Elwes. Cary Elwes in black. mandy Patinkin. Plus some of the wittiest dialogue you'll find in a film. I can't believe it's been over 20 years since I first saw this movie.

Since this is a wedding blog, let's not forget the wedding scene between Buttercup and Prince Humperdinck. "Mawwiage." Just thinking about it brings a smile to my face. There are other films that capture wedding moments; some good (Father of the Bride), some not so good (The Graduate), but they're always memorable.
