Ever Thought of Webcasting Your Wedding?

Some people here, as I read from the other local bloggers, have done it on wakes. A family member of the dead person couldn't come home, working abroad and all. At least through webcasting the wake was witnessed. I know it wouldn't even come close to being there in person, but it webcasting would help.

Imagine doing a live webcast of your wedding. Your family and friends cannot come because maybe because of distance or money problems? Webcast your wedding. That isn't unheard of anymore these days. Like this story:
John Roehsler took his wedding vows, exchanged rings with his bride - and turned to the webcam.
"Whoever's watching ... we're sorry that you couldn't be here," the groom said. "But you are here, so that's great. The 21st century rocks."
Roehsler and his bride, the former Neperthey Velasco, used a webcast to allow friends and family from roughly 10 states and a dozen countries to view their wedding ceremony live. It's a service now offered for weddings and funerals to allow far-flung family and friends to take part.
Well...this indeed is one thing to add to your list when planning your wedding. Who knows? Webcasting could be for you.
