Dreaming of a Blue/Green Christmas

On Friday, I went to our local Canadian Tire to purchase new chairs for our dining room. For my US readers, canadian tire is a department store chain that carries automotive stuff, seasonal decor, household appliances, dishes, furniture, paint, hunting/fishing/biking/sports stuff, etc. ANYWHOOOO, their seasonal stuff is always up by the entrance. In summer it is patio furniture and BBQ's. This time of year, it's Christmas Decor. The first tree on display was the one shown here, decorated to match and my first though when I saw it "oh COOL - new winter wedding idea" - yes, it's ALWAYS on my mind!

So, I grabbed their holiday magazine so that I could share it with you. There were a few other ones in the book that I will share later this week as well. There was also an awesome Pink color scheme tree on display but there wasn't a good photo in the book so I will have to go back and take a picture for you guys.

The one above combines various shades of blue with lime green, silver and white for a great twist on a holiday scheme. If you are a fan of those popular summer colors - this shows you that there is no reason why you can't use those summer colors and still great a winter wonderland look for your wedding.
