Bridal Jewelry

I never knew that anyone felt ambivalent about wearing their engagement ring until I read this weddingbee post. The comments are very interesting and let me know that not every engaged woman feels comfortable sporting a big rock on her hand.
Granted, when I first got engaged many moons ago, I felt a little awkward wearing my new engagement ring, though I wore other rings on a regular basis. I think it may be more weird for women who don't wear a lot of jewelry most of the time.
Today, I don't wear my diamond ring every day, but most days, I do. When I'm home, doing dirty jobs with my hands, I tend to remove it.
So what camp do you fall into? The one that says "My fiance spent a load on me and I want the world to know it" or "One diamond ring is one blingy ring too much."
