Wedding Invitations
by Crystal Unrau on August 1, 2007
As most of my loyal readers already know - I actually write for/own quite a few blogs. White Lace Wedding is my blog for wedding trends and news and I also have Budget Dream Weddings which covers affordable wedding planning and wedding themes. As part of that site, I recently began working on a series of DIY project tutorials and I thought I would share the first two with you know that they are up so you can enjoy them to. After all - DIY projects are a trend that is finding it's way into weddings of all budgets because of the high level of personalization available.
This is the last project I posted - a DIY idea for a winter or Snowflake themed wedding. These adorable cards could be used as save the dates or thank you cards. Larger versions would make wonderful invitations and smaller versions could be great for table cards. Click here for instructions.

The first project I completed, also an invitation, can work for any season, style and theme simply by changing the color and pattern of the different elements. Need a formal black and white? Use a black & white patterned paper with a black ribbon. Having a Tiffany Blue wedding? Use a tiffany blue paper with a cream or white ribbon and a small silver heart charm. Here are a few basic variations I made - you can read the instructions here.
