I found a cute proposal story on The Boston Channel that I thought was worth sharing. Aric Egmont and his girlfriend started of their relationship over a crossword puzzle at a local coffee shop, so when he decided to propose to Jennie Bass he knew exactly how he wanted to do it.
Aric contacted the crossword writers Emily Cox and Henry Rathvon, a married team, at The Boston Globe and arranged to have a special crossword run . The crossword included clues related to proposals as well as to the couple - including his last name, her sisters name, her best friend's name and more. When they got to #111 - Generic Proposal (also a play on their names, Jenn and Aric) - he got down on one knee and gave her the answer - "Will you marry me?"
She said yes:) OH man - I hope they are planning a black and white wedding with custom made crossword puzzles rolled in a scroll, and tied together with a black mini pencil with a bit of black ribbon for their wedding favors.
