Corset Style

corsets are fairly popular in the UK and are making an appearance in the US from time to time as well though usually more in themed wedding attire then anything. If you search online, you will find that there are many dress makers, especially in the UK, that specialize in corset styles like the ones above from Simply Brides which are suitable for any wedding, not just a themed wedding.

For some reason, I find myself drawn to these. I'm not 100% sure how I feel about them. I like their modern yet not flair, and I like the look of the lace back styling. Of course, I also like the slimming properties. But I don't know if, when it came down to it, this would be the look I would go for. I am curious what you guys think. Could you see yourself wearing a corset style gown?
