Okay...children can be really noisy and unmanageable at times during occasions such as one's wedding. But personally I don't think they should be totally banned from any weddings, if they really have to be there.
The adults I guess should keep them behaved enough to sit still or at least busy enough to keep them from screaming or running around during crucial moments like during the exchange of vows. I know easier said than done as I have a 5-year old too. I know how he can be on functions when I had to bring him at times. But you know, the adults accompanying the kids (parents or not) can always come up with creative tricks to keep the kids 'down'.
Better yet, find a place where children will not be thrown out for being noisy and squeamish during your own wedding.

Well...different strokes for different folks. It's really up to anyone if they would or would not allow children during their wedding. But this I gotta say, I do not want a kid of mine (young or old) to be banned from my very own wedding.
So what if the kids are noisy? So what if the exchange of vows are disrupted? But that's just me. However, the fact remains that allowing children or not in your wedding...is indeed one tricky decision every couple has to make.

An Anglican vicar took a dim view of a toddler at a wedding service in Staffordshire and ordered its removal from the church. But it wasn't any old toddler, it was the son of the bride and groom, who have complained to the Church of England.
One of the first dilemmas that bridal couples must grapple with is the guest list and invariably the "kids or no kids" question has to be answered.
