One of the first things I knew I wanted for my wedding was a candy buffet! An entire table dedicated to candy? How can you go wrong with that? I have seen some great candy buffets, the one above is one of my favorites so far and is kind of the look we are going for, except that I would like to do a miniature version of the Crystal orchid Tree in the center.

Of course - a candy buffet means you need LOTS of glass containers - so I have been checking out local thrift shops regularly to see what I can find. Yesterday I bought my first 4 - two candy containers, and two glass bowls for larger candies. Total cost for all four - $6.25! Not bad! We need a total of 15-20 containers so I still have a few more to go. Sorry for the not-so-great pics: they are from my cell phone camera.
