I decided to feature a Chicago vendor this week because I will be heading out to Chicago next week for a BlogHer Conference and it just seemed fitting. I feel in love with Cake Girls the instant I opened the gallery! Their designs are stunning! Modern, but very elegant! Some of my favorites are shown above, but their gallery include many, many more amazing cakes for weddings, showers, and everything else.

Cake Girls is run by two sisters who hail from Detroit and offers a wonderful selection of flavors and fillings. They have also been featured in a number of publications including In Style Weddings, The Knot, Elegant Bride and Wedding Bells. Their starting price for a wedding cake is $5.50 per slice with their average ranging from $6.50 to $900.
