Brides on eBay

They say you can find anything on eBay - and there have been some seriously bizarre auctions in the past - but a bride? 3 years ago, singer James Blunt helped his sister Emily find a way to a funeral in Ireland by auctioning her off on eBay. The auction reportedly read: "Damsel in distress seeks knight in shining armor! Desperate to get to a funeral in southern Ireland, please help!"
To his surprise, bids poured in and the lucky winner, who happened to own a helicopter, flew Emily to her funeral. Now, 3 years later, their next flight together will be to their honeymoon. Blunts rep has confirmed that the story is indeed true and the happy couple where married recently!
WOW - now that just about beat anything I have seen on eBay yet, lol. What do you think?

What an interesting idea! I guess Blunt wasn´t exactly selling a bride, though, more of an opportunity to help someone out. I love that it turned out to be true love, though.
