Looks like I need to pick up another magazine, lol. One of the bees on Weddingbee posted photos from martha stewart's magazine, Blueprints. The photos showed a pastel color scheme for Christmas - another great alternative to the traditional Christmas wedding colors. Among them was this photo of candles brought to life with some glitter for a ton of sparkle - perfect for any wedding!
They are fairly easy and affordable to make. The supplies needed include candles, from $8 per dozen, jamaligarden.com. "Fine" glitter, $5, marthastewartcrafts.com. and some spray adhesive. Place the candles in a large box, put on a mask and spray with spray adhesive. Spoon on glitter to coat and let them dry overnight. Even the most uncrafty bride could probably manage that, lol. The result is really lovely!!
