Beachy Backdrop

I found this photo online and immediately got inspired! I want to do something similar as my backdrop. I would make it out of three bamboo poles, but without that green fuzzy stuff on the poles. I am tossing around the idea of wrapping pink and green ribbon around the poles but I think I will built it, try that and if it looks dumb, then I would leave the poles plain.

I would create a canopy idea as shown, with clear fishing line and some silk orchids and flowers in greens and pinks. The one concern I had was wind - but I think what I could do is end each line with a heavy clear crystal weight, or have a solid base at the bottom with the fishing line attached and then bury the base into the sand. Either way, it would be placed on the beach, just out of reach of the water, and we would stand in front of it.

Now I just have to find bamboo poles big enough!
