Another Italy Wedding

Celebrities seem to love European weddings recently and Rod Stewart has joined the list of celebrities to choose a romantic European destination for his wedding. The rock legend was married in Italy to his third wife, model Penny Lancaster. The couple have been dating for seven years and recently gave birth to their first son in November of 2005.

The ceremony took place in a small abbey at La Cervara, a small town outside the Italian Riviera resort, Portofino. Their 100 guests, which included family and close friends, were then treated to dinner, dancing and fireworks overlooking the coast of Santa Margherita. Sources report that the actual marriage took place earlier that same day at the 17th century Villa Durazzo in Santa Margherita with only Stewart, Lancaster and two witnesses in attendance.

PEOPLE reports that the couple are now enjoying a family honeymoon aboard their yacht.
