News Of Note
by Crystal Unrau on August 31, 2007

This may be one of the most unique weddings I have seen yet this year. Jiang Dezhang and his bride, Tie Guangju, have been working as high-rise window cleaners for a number of years and decided that they wanted to say their vows suspended above the streets of Kunming, Yunnan (West China).
The couple were married two days ago, on August 28, 2007. The couple, ages 26 & 27, exchanged vows, rings and a first kiss while dangling in mid air on wooden boards. The maid of honor and best man were also suspended next to them. Guests and passers-by witnessed the ceremony from the ground below and as the couple exchanged rings, a scroll was hung from the top of the building reading "High Altitude Love".
